Easy install, great quality, so glad I went with this

Easy installation and great upgrade to my 2011 Lincoln MKX

I purchased during Black Friday Deals. Took about 2 weeks to get and I watched an installation video during that time. Decided to install it in the car on a day that it wasn't being used in case there was a problem. Unpacked all the items, removed contents. Total swap took about 20min for the Radio, USB hub and antenna. Be certain to install the new GPS antenna that comes with it, or the clock will not update correctly, nor the maps if you chose the GPS option.
I powered the unit up before re-installing the screws and trim pieces to confirm functionality. Everything worked flawlessly. The Android Auto and Apple Car Play both connected instantly and without any errors through the USB port. The Bluetooth connection also connected instantly. What a world of difference. The touchscreen response time, the improved resolution, and the superior layout of the 2023 screens compared to the 2011 one is bar none.
Given that it was genuine Ford parts, it was literally plug and play, and the price, it was one of the best radio purchases/replacements I've ever experienced.
I'm sure there maybe an equivalent aftermarket solution, but if want FAST plug and play install, NOT have to modify a single thing, AND have all the original factory functionality (Steering Wheel, HVAC, Camera, Speed Volume, Sub Woofer) This is the kit for you.

Order new module, received in about 6-7 days, it took me about 30 minutes to install having never done it before. It fired right up with no issues, I believe my system works better now than it did new, the new module came with the latest Version of Sync 3.4, my phone hook up immediately, before I had to install new phone every time I started the truck.
Also upgraded to wireless Apple CarPlay, that was just as easy, just plugged into usb port download app on phone, done.
Do not hesitate to buy from intelligent1tech. They are a good company and delivers what they promised.

I have completed the install of this kit and everything went well. No problems on the install. There was some confusion on some of the install but it was easy to figure it out. It was truly plugged and play.

Purchased 6 months ago. Installed myself with the help of YouTube. Been working great! Just like new. Highly recommend. Between cost of what Ford would have charged to purchase and install…I saved about $1k.

Took my Mustang to the dealership and they told me my APIM was needed to be replaced and out of warranty. They were going to charge me $1,500.00 ended up purchasing a APIM here with GEN 4 SYNC and now it’s wireless Apple Car Play too. Great product recommend 100%
