Fixed My Sync 3 Issues

A little less than 2 years after purchasing the full Sync 3 conversion, I started having issues that pointed to need a new APIM. I emailed customer service and instead of upselling me to replace the entire system they pointed me to the APIM on their site, so that it would save me a little money. I really appreciated that information. After installing the new APIM, all of my previous issues were fixed. I am hoping that this APIM will last a lot longer than the previous APIM.

Manual climate control cannot upgrade to automatic by our solution.
With our factory SYNC 3, you can still install future Ford SYNC software updates via USB or Wi-Fi.
This kit cannot add SYNC Connect/FordPass.
Ford does not cover our kit, so we provide our own 1-year warranty covering all parts.
Your SiriusXM subscription will not be affected.

Which module do I need?

Model year before 2019: Gen3 module. 2019 and later: Gen4 module. Not sure? Send us your VIN.

Will it fit my vehicle?

It's for vehicles that already have a factory SYNC 3 screen. Have the 8" MyFord Touch (SYNC 2)? You need our SYNC 2 to SYNC 3 kit. Small 4" screen? You need the 4" to 8" conversion kit.

How hard is the installation?

Easy, about 30 minutes. It's a plug & play direct replacement, pre-programmed with your VIN, so no dealer visit.

Will it fix a black or dead SYNC 3 screen?

Yes, when the screen is black or dead because the APIM module has failed.

Will I get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Yes, with a supported USB hub (not included). For wireless, add our USB adapter dongle.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free in the US. Orders ship from our US or Hong Kong warehouse and usually arrive in 5–10 days; peak season can add 2–5 days. Orders placed before 8 PM Pacific are processed the same day.

Will I pay import duties or customs fees?

No. We cover import duties on US orders. In rare cases the carrier may contact you to help with customs clearance.

What warranty do I get? Does it affect my Ford warranty?

You get our 1-year warranty covering all parts. Installing our parts does not by itself void your Ford factory warranty, but Ford does not cover them, so our warranty does.

What is your return policy?

You can return unused items in the original packaging within 30 days. Because our products are set up for your vehicle, a processing fee (usually 30% of the order) applies if a non-defective order is cancelled after it ships. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
