Perfect upgrade addition On my Ford Sync3 upgrade from Myford Touch Sync2. Highly recommend it.
Takes about 15-20 seconds to connect every time you start your car but works every time so far.
Really good product and I highly recommend it. There is a slight bluetooth delay of around 1 second but otherwise its perfect.
I bought this along with a bunch of wireless chargers because my charging port died on my iPhone XS Max. I refuse to spend 1500+ on a replacement phone so this is my alternative. The day after this showed up I drove 12 hours out to our new property in Indiana. While driving I also put my phone on a wireless charger (cheap of Amazon) after about 2 hours the wireless adaptor froze and disconnected while using the gps on my truck screen. I noticed my phone to be quite warm as well. I took the phone off the charger, unplugged the adaptor waited a minute or so and plugged it back in. Device immediately connected again and worked fine. I let it go some time without being on the charger, then my phone dropped to 20%. Put the phone back on the wireless charger and within 30 minutes the screen on the truck froze and the device disconnected. Repeat the unplug and plug back in to get it to reconnect.
While out, I stopped at Best Buy and bought name brand Samsung wireless chargers thinking the issue was in the cheap charger. Had the exact same issue. Everything works great until my phone dies and I need to charge it. I was able to figure out that my music glitches right before it disconnects, and when it did this I put the phone in front of the air conditioning which let it stay connected. Not sure what the solution is here as I checked to make sure it was updated, and it was.
All in all the device works well except this small issue. Short trips it’s great. Just when I need to charge wirelessly it becomes an issue.
