Very easy to install. Works and looks great. Highly recommend.
About a year ago my infotainment system started failing on my 2016 MKX. The dealer tried to update/reset it, no good. I had a blank screen, and all kinds of errors. Drove it that way for about 4 months, then read about this option. It's about $600 cheaper than OEM/Dealer to do this, but it's not cheap. I felt like it was a $650 gamble. It's not. Everything worked perfectly. Outside of having to remove the console completely to get to the screen (a gazillion screws) it's not difficult. Tedious, but not difficult. There really aren't decent instructions included but as long as you give them your VIN, its plug and play. Just do it
They have made this kit an easy way to upgrade your radio without going aftermarket!!
The installation was pretty easy and the system works good. The only semi negatives is the instructions were a little vague, the wireless interface was the worse because there were no instructions on how to use it. There are USB plugs on both sides of the unit. I figured it out by plug in both side until it worked, it would be nice if they said this in the instructions. the only other issue is that while using car play I can't control where the air is coming out while heating or cooling. But. om the whole I would definitely would recommend buying here a great price and really fast shipping.
