A:This tool is for spare using for online programming,if you have changed or added some features from factory like change tire size,this can be used to correct the code.An 4'' to 8'' SYNC conversion have to use this to setup Bluetooth audio after installation.Also it can use for your future upgrades like LCD cluster upgrade,power folder mirror and error clearance etc.

Installation was quick and very easy after watching You Tube. The only decision to make that there was no information on was which side of the gps antennae was up knowing if was upside down it wouldn’t work. I was supplied with the double sided adhesive so you have to be right the first time. I figured that gps wouldn’t transmit through the metal plate attached for mounting with screws and installed with the metal plate down. Also had an instance where the phone wouldn’t connect and it miraculously fixed itself. No problems sense. Works great now.
If you have an older Sync version this upgrade is worth every penny. The installation is fairly basic, the instructions are not the best but the everything plugs in one way. The tool kit provided makes getting the face plate off super easy. You Tine had some good videos on how to get through the process. I sent my VIN number in when ordering and the unit came ready to go. Everything worked including my Sirius radio. If you are on the fence about buying this unit, pull the trigger. You won’t be disappointed.
Grateful for the tools they sent along, would’ve been nice to include instructions or a video, but I found one online.
The CarPlay has a weird problem where it sometimes loses my location and thinks I’m somewhere 20-30 meters away, which messes up navigation. I don’t think that’s an issue with this device, but worth mentioning.

I tried the Phoenix automotive route and it was such a pain. The one I got from intelligent was super quick and easy to install and works like a factory unit. Took a minute to figure out the apple car play deal but I figured it out. Awesome experience couldnt be happier.
